Understatement

Understatement Brand Film is a Hyper Island students project. I was the producer and I could coordenate 11 artists to create 3 short films for a swedish company called Understatement.
The shot sellected was animated by me. I did design the background, vectorized the character and made de composition. My first time using DUIK!
In your pitch to the client we present three anthropomorphic animals as main characters. The storytelling was based in the sequence method, building up expectations and twisting the plot, adding humor to the pieces. The client loved the script since the very beginning but they expected a live action commercials instead of animations. We could find a middle ground "killing our darlings" and not use animals, but keeping the campaign as animation.
